Long-Lewis Auto Group is looking for a Reconditioning Center Automotive Detail Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll help prepare pre-owned vehicles for retail sale by cleaning, detailing, and restoring their appearance to Long-Lewis standards. About the Role:
The Reconditioning Center Automotive Detail Technician is responsible for cleaning and detailing pre-owned vehicles inside and out to ensure they are retail-ready. You'll work alongside the reconditioning team to deliver vehicles that look their best while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous automotive detailing experience is not required—we're willing to train the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
What You'll Do:
- Wash, clean, and detail the interior and exterior of pre-owned vehicles
- Vacuum, shampoo, and clean upholstery, carpets, and interior surfaces
- Polish, wax, and apply protective finishes as needed
- Clean windows, wheels, tires, and engine compartments
- Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet Long-Lewis quality standards
- Maintain detailing equipment and supplies
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Work with the reconditioning team to ensure vehicles are completed on schedule
