Trane NY / Vermont is hiring a Turnkey /Comprehensive Solutions Project Manager based out of our Albany or Syracuse office location. In this role, you will manage all aspects of a multi-million-dollar construction project portfolio, from beginning to end, with direct responsibility for project execution in a given time frame and with available resources. Responsible for the administration, implementation and management of assigned construction projects.
This role leads cross-functional teams through all phases of project delivery, with a focus on energy savings, operational efficiency, budget control, schedule performance, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Projects may include HVAC upgrades, central plant improvements, building automation systems, lighting retrofits, controls integration, electrification initiatives, decarbonization efforts, renewable energy support systems, and other facility modernization scopes.
The ideal candidate combines strong construction leadership with experience managing technically complex projects in occupied facilities, institutional environments, commercial buildings, healthcare, education, industrial sites, or government settings. This person must be able to manage multiple stakeholders, drive execution, mitigate risk, and deliver projects that meet both financial and performance objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements - bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction Industry or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to independently prioritize and manage time in a disciplined, productive manner.
Maintains highest levels of ethics, trust, and personal responsibility.
Preferred candidate would have OSHA 10 minimum and OSHA 30 preferred
Familiarity with financially guaranteed contracts, the operation of energy management systems, HVAC systems, temperature controls, and process control systems is preferred.
Must have a general working knowledge of basic engineering, electricity, mechanical HVAC systems and the building construction industry.
Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
DUI in the previous 5 years
Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Travel to customer job sites is required (2-5-hour radius & overnights as assigned projects require), which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.
