Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $17.00 (plus $1.00 shift differential)

Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, dimensions, tolerances, cut lengths, and material orientation requirements.
- Set up, operate, and adjust tube laser equipment to produce high-quality parts that meet production and quality standards.
- Stage, load, and unload raw materials and finished products using forklifts, cranes, or other material-handling equipment.
- Verify machine settings and perform first-piece and in-process inspections using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices.
- Inspect and measure parts to ensure compliance with blueprint and customer specifications.
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist with preventative maintenance activities.
- Manage laser programs, nesting, and production work orders through CNC controls and production software.
- Maintain a strong quality focus by verifying materials, identifying defects, and escalating issues when necessary.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout awareness, and safe operation around lasers, automation, and moving materials.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI), 5S, and standardized work initiatives.
- Crosstrain on additional equipment within the fabrication/origination area as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while contributing positively to team goals and production objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating Tube Lasers (BLM, Mazak, Bystronic, Trumpf, or similar).
- Experience with CNC laser equipment, CNC machining, press brakes, or related fabrication equipment.
- Forklift certification and material-handling experience.
- Experience with ERP systems, production reporting, and manufacturing software.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Work Experience:
Required-
• 2 Years operating laser equipment
• Advanced trouble shooting and critical thinking.
• Training and shop floor leadership
Desired-
• 3-5 years of operating laser equipment
including nesting software
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:15pm
Overtime on Saturday as needed
