  • Address cross-border and international estate planning issues.
  • Coordinate with tax, corporate, real estate, and litigation colleagues to deliver integrated client service.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and their professional advisors while developing new business.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 8 years of legal experience, including partner-level experience or a clear path to partnership in trusts and estates.
  • A substantial, portable client base and a practice focused on sophisticated high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth planning, not high-volume or commoditized work.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex estate and wealth transfer planning.
  • Experience with family offices or private investment structures and, ideally, cross-border planning.
  • A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial approach to practice growth and cross-practice client service.
  • Existing professional relationships with accountants, wealth managers, or financial advisors are beneficial.
