Trusts & Estates Attorney: Estate Planning and Probate in Fort Lauderdale

We are partnering with a highly respected law firm with a thriving private client practice that is seeking a Trusts & Estates Attorney with 4+ years of experience for its Fort Lauderdale, Florida office.

You will counsel individuals, families, and fiduciaries on estate planning, trust administration, and probate, working alongside seasoned attorneys in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

What You'll Do

• Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and comprehensive estate plans
• Advise high-net-worth clients and families on estate, gift, and wealth transfer planning
• Handle probate and trust administration matters from opening through closing
• Counsel personal representatives and trustees on their fiduciary duties
• Prepare court filings, accountings, and related documents
• Assist with trust and estate litigation matters as they arise

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school; LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning is a plus
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 4+ years of trusts and estates experience, including estate planning, probate, and trust administration
• Strong drafting skills and thorough knowledge of the Florida Probate Code and Florida Trust Code
• Exposure to trust and estate litigation is a plus
• Excellent client communication skills and attention to detail
