A highly respected AmLaw firm is seeking a Trust & Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join its Tampa office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to build a sophisticated trusts and estates practice within a collaborative and nationally recognized platform serving high-net-worth individuals, families, businesses, and charitable organizations.
The firm is open to candidates with 1-3 years of trust and estate planning experience, as well as exceptional candidates joining directly from an accredited LLM in Taxation program. The Role
Associates in this position may work on matters involving:
Sophisticated estate planning strategies
Trust and estate administration
Estate and gift tax planning
Business succession planning
Charitable giving and philanthropic planning
Probate proceedings for taxable and non-taxable estates
Federal gift and estate tax return preparation
Tax-exempt organization planning and advisory matters
Attorneys will work closely with high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and charitable organizations on complex planning and wealth transfer matters. Ideal Background
1-3 years of trust and estate planning experience preferred
Experience with estate administration, probate, and transfer tax planning preferred
Exposure to business succession planning and charitable planning is a plus
Candidates completing an accredited LLM in Taxation program will also be considered
Strong drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and strong work ethic
JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
Active Florida Bar admission required
