Truck Wash Attendant
Location: Jacksonville, IL
Company: Midwest Truck Wash
Position Type: Evaluation Hire
Start Date: Approximately October 5, 2026
Pay: $17/hr
Job Summary
A Truck Wash is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join its team in Jacksonville. This is a hands-on General Labor position focused on keeping trucks and the facility clean and well maintained. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attendance and work history, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Wash and thoroughly scrub trucks using a power washer
- Ensure trucks are cleaned to a high standard
- Perform general facility cleaning and maintenance
- Remove and dispose of trash
- Mow grass and assist with outdoor property maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Follow workplace procedures and safety expectations
- Complete other general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Dependable and accountable
- Consistent attendance and strong work ethic
- Stable work history preferred
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand and remain active for shifts of up to 12 hours
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and varying weather conditions
- Willing to take pride in maintaining a clean, professional facility

Attractive 12 hour schedule
