    The Truck Builder will ensure the efficient layout and assembly of each Truck Builder load to optimize the number of cases per truck leaving the division and make loading and unloading as efficient as possible.

    $29.00/hour. Weekly Pay

    Schedule. Sunday: 3:30pm until Finish; Monday-Thursday: 5pm until Finish.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

    • Use Truck Builder software to layout and assemble each trailer. Analyze the output to ensure that loads are built to maximize both safety and efficiency while loading and unloading product .
    • Maintain equipment and ensure the proper supply of all necessary materials to facilitate successful loading and unloading processes. Order supplies as needed.
    • Respond to all driver concerns regarding loads built with Truck Builder. Adjust loads as necessary to address concerns and maximize efficiency.
    • Assist in loading trailers as needed to meet daily production goals.
    • Other duties as assigned by manager.

    • Internal: Selectors, drivers, clerks, managers
    • External: Customers, sales

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Work will take place at a desk in an office environment and within normal warehouse environments including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Related Experience/Requirements:

    • N/A

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    • Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
    • Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
    • Basic computer skills with a good knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
    • Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.
    • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.

    Education

    • High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • One year of experience in a warehouse preferred.

    Certifications/Training

    • Experience with Truck Builder software preferred.

    Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds).  The expected base rate for this role is between

    $17 - $26
