Truck Handler Team Member Responsibilities:
- Receive and properly store truck deliveries in designated storage areas, including dry storage, coolers, and freezers.
- Take and document temperatures of incoming products to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
- Verify deliveries against inventory and order records to ensure all expected products are received and identify any shortages or discrepancies.
- Organize, rotate, and consolidate inventory using proper food safety and storage procedures.
- Count inventory accurately and maintain organized inventory records.
- Confirm daily stock levels and communicate shortages, discrepancies, or product needs to appropriate leadership.
- Order produce based on current inventory levels and anticipated operational needs.
- Weigh, record, and accurately input donated products according to established procedures.
- Break down, consolidate, and dispose of boxes and packaging materials to maintain clean and organized storage areas.
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of receiving, storage, back-of-house and front-of-house areas.
- Clean and maintain the parking lot and exterior areas to support a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following food safety, workplace safety, and operational standards.
- Work safely around the store and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
- Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
- Other duties as assigned
