Truck Driver

We are looking for a Truck Driver to join our team! In this position you will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer truck and the changing of donation trailers to and from the Main Plant facility or other locations as directed by supervisory staff.

HOURS: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

PAY: $27.19

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB:

Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Frequently unloading trucks, walking, bending, standing. Driving tractor-trailer for long periods of time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections as per DOT guidelines.
• Perform store deliveries and transport salvage materials back to Main Plant facility.
• Load and unload trailers using pallet jack, hand truck, forklift, or by hand.
• Must comply with all local, state, and federal transportation guidelines.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and complies with all policies and procedures.
• Follow scheduling to best meet the company's need as determined by supervisory staff.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High school graduate/GED, certification of tractor-trailer truck driving school.
• Minimum of two years' experience driving tractor-trailer trucks preferred but not required.
• Must possess Class A commercial driver's license.
• Forklift experience is a plus
