Truck Driver

The Truckdriver will transport equipment, materials, systems, components, and other mission-related items between work locations while ensuring safe and compliant operation of Government-owned, Government-leased, or contractor-provided vehicles. This position supports the integration and delivery of C5ISR systems and equipment and may involve loading, securing, transporting, and delivering materials and equipment required for installation, maintenance, modernization, and field support activities.

This position is contingent upon contract award. Hiring is anticipated to begin upon contract award.

Location: St. Inigoes, MD – NAWCAD Webster Outlying Field (WOLF)
Shift: Day Shift; Monday–Friday, generally 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with potential schedule flexibility based on mission requirements
Remote Type: No Remote
Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance within 90 days
Certification: Valid U.S. driver’s license; additional government vehicle/operator licensing may be required based on assigned vehicles
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
Years of Experience: Relevant commercial or government vehicle operation experience preferred

Description

Altus Technology Solutions is seeking a Truckdriver, Medium to support logistics, transportation, and field service operations for a U.S. Navy mission at NAWCAD Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) in St. Inigoes, Maryland. The Truckdriver will transport equipment, materials, systems, components, and other mission-related items between work locations while ensuring safe and compliant operation of Government-owned, Government-leased, or contractor-provided vehicles.

This position supports the integration and delivery of C5ISR systems and equipment and may involve loading, securing, transporting, and delivering materials and equipment required for installation, maintenance, modernization, and field support activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate medium-duty trucks and other Government-owned or Government-leased vehicles in support of mission requirements.
• Transport equipment, materials, parts, systems, components, and supplies between Government and contractor locations.
• Load, secure, transport, unload, and deliver equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
• Support shipping, receiving, packaging, preservation, packing, and delivery activities as required.
• Follow all applicable NAVAIR, Government, site-specific, federal, state, and local vehicle operating requirements.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report damage, defects, maintenance requirements, or safety concerns.
• Maintain awareness of vehicle condition, fuel requirements, and required servicing.
• Maintain accurate documentation associated with vehicle operation, transportation, deliveries, and equipment.
• Assist with movement and positioning of equipment and materials in support of C5ISR integration and installation activities.
• Safely operate vehicles around aircraft, industrial equipment, Government facilities, and installation work areas.
• Comply with all applicable safety, security, OPSEC, and information protection requirements.
• Report vehicle accidents and incidents in accordance with established Government and company procedures.
• Support other logistics and field service activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen unless otherwise waived by the Government.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within the required timeframe.
• Ability to safely operate medium-duty vehicles and transport equipment and materials.
• Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload materials and equipment as required.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions when necessary.
• Strong attention to safety, accountability, and proper handling of Government property.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established operating procedures.
• Prior experience supporting military, government, industrial, logistics, transportation, or aerospace environments is preferred.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a mission-focused team.
