Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight, including refrigerated trailers and tanker loads. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. We also accept SAP drivers
Duties
- Operate and drive a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers.
- Safely transport freight to designated locations while following established routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing truck driving operations.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated (e.g., dry van)
- SAP drivers accepted
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record
- Experience in route driving and handling various types of freight is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
