Position Overview
The Truck Driver plays a key role in safely and efficiently hauling grain and feed ingredients using a hopper-bottom trailer. This position is ideal for someone who values accuracy, dependable service, and representing ZFGI's values on every trip. You'll ensure timely deliveries, maintain a strong focus on safety and equipment care, and provide excellent customer service to our partners and clients.

Core Responsibilities
- Haul grain and ingredients in an accurate and safe manner
- Providing excellent customer service
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Accurately follow and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Class A CDL is required
- 3 years of experience is preferred but not required.
- Able to climb up and down ladders
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Random drug testing
Time Expectations
- 50 hours per week
- Likely 6:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Harvest involves increased hours
