Entry-Level Class A CDL Drivers — Paid Training & No Experience Needed

Please read the entire ad carefully to make sure you meet all qualifications before applying.

Have your Class A CDL but haven't had the opportunity to get behind the wheel professionally yet? We are looking for qualified entry-level CDL drivers and recent CDL school graduates for a variety of OTR, regional, dedicated, and select local driving positions.

If you're ready to turn your CDL into a career, our paid training program gives you the hands-on experience and professional instruction needed to get started.

Get Paid While You Train

New CDL drivers don't have to figure it all out on their own. You'll spend approximately 4 weeks on the road with an experienced driver trainer, learning the skills and procedures needed to become a safe, confident professional driver.

During your training, you'll:

  • Work directly with an experienced professional truck driver
  • Develop real-world driving skills
  • Learn safe operating procedures and proper trip management
  • Build valuable OTR driving experience
  • Earn $650–$900 per week, depending on the hiring location

Training Home Time

During the initial 30-day training period, drivers should plan to remain on the road with their trainer. Regular home time generally isn't available during this portion of training.

Certain dedicated or local opportunities may have different home-time arrangements based on the account and freight requirements.

Current Hiring Area

At this time, we are unable to accept applicants who live in:

  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • Connecticut
  • North Dakota
  • South Dakota
  • New Hampshire

Florida applicants: We cannot currently hire drivers residing south of an imaginary line extending from the Tampa Bay area east toward Cape Canaveral. Drivers living north of this line may qualify.

Do You Meet the Requirements?

Applicants must meet all of the following qualifications:

  • Be 21 years of age or older
  • Have a valid Class A CDL
  • Hold a current DOT Medical Card
  • Have completed at least 120 hours of training at an accredited CDL school within the past 24 months
  • Successfully complete all required DOT drug testing, including urine and/or hair testing when applicable
  • Pass required background and employment verification checks
  • Provide a complete driving record

Your driving history must include:

  • All accidents from the previous 5 years
  • All moving violations from the previous 3 years

What Happens After Training?

After successfully completing your training, you'll generally receive 2–5 days of home time before speaking with driver management about available positions.

We'll review opportunities based on your location, qualifications, experience, and the type of driving job you're looking for.

Our OTR/Regional/Dedicated operation is designed to keep you closer to your home region when possible. We consider OTR driving to mean spending nights in the truck while operating within your home state plus at least three additional states.

Depending on available freight and your location, regional, dedicated, and certain local positions may also be available. Local opportunities are typically concentrated around larger metropolitan areas.
