Drives district vehicle to deliver and pick up district materials, food and supplies within a specified schedule and route.

What You'll Do:
Pulls and loads prepared orders for delivery from warehouse (e.g., freezer, staging area) and prioritizes load according to order of delivery.
Delivers items to district departments and schools.
Communicates and coordinates delivery information with site personnel (e.g., principal, kitchen staff).
Loads and unloads assigned items into assigned district vehicle and scheduled route location, securing load and following District safety procedures.
Obeys traffic laws, and follows established traffic, transportation, and district procedures.
Verifies contents of load to order, correcting discrepancies or notifying supervisor.
Present orders for signature to district personnel for unloaded supplies and turns in signed orders to supervisor.
Inspects vehicle according to district policy and reports vehicle problems.
Communicates and coordinates with supervisor (e.g., order discrepancies, route delays), using two way radio.
Performs other duties, as requested.
