Were seeking a CN038-Truck Driver whos ready to be part of an innovative, people-first brand shaping the future of the roofing industry.

Position Summary

The Truck Driver (CDL licensed) safely operates flatbed commercial vehicles to load, transport,

and deliver roofing and building materials to customer job sites on Less-Than-Truckload (LTL)

regional routes. This position requires securing and unloading freight, managing hazardous

materials, maintaining DOT compliance (including occasional overnight stays), and delivering

exceptional customer service.

Hourly Rate: $31.84

M-F 6a-2:30p (dependent on delivery requirements)

Key Responsibilities

Driving & LTL Transport: Safely operate Class A vehicles along regional LTL routes. Plan

routes efficiently and ensure timely deliveries to multiple job site locations.

Loading & Unloading: Securely load flatbed trailers at the plant and unload materials at

job sites using truck-mounted forklifts or material handling equipment. Verify order

accuracy against packing lists and Bills of Lading prior to departure.

DOT & Hours of Service Compliance: Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device

(ELD) records and perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Complete occasional

overnight stays when required to remain fully compliant with DOT Hours of Service (HOS)

regulations.

Hazardous Materials Handling: Transport, secure, and document freight classified as

hazardous materials in strict accordance with federal, state, and company safety

standards.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety inspections and preventative

maintenance on tractors, trailers, and forklifts. Report on equipment issues immediately.

Schedule service and maintenance for vehicle as necessary.

Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with contractors and site supervisors

to coordinate offloading locations and deliver positive customer experience.

Qualifications & Skills

Licensing: Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a Hazardous Materials

(Hazmat) endorsement required.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience required; flatbed and

truck-mounted forklift experience strongly desired. Experience with commercial building

products preferred.

Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate ELD systems, basic scanning tools, and manage

digital or paper shipping documents.

Physical Demands: Capacity to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50-75 lbs.,

bending, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Flexibility: Availability for flexible start times, occasional overtime, and rare overnight stays

dictated by route schedules and DOT limits.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills required.
