Position Summary
Elder Corporation is seeking full-time Truck Drivers to operate side dump, pup trailer, and end dump equipment. This position requires a Class A CDL and a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork. Drivers will transport materials to and from job sites and quarries, primarily within a 70-mile radius of Des Moines, allowing most employees to return home daily.
Truck driving positions are classified as safety-sensitive, and all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations must be followed.

Key Responsibilities
Operate side dump, pup trailer, and end dump trucks safely and efficiently
Perform DOT inspections prior to each shift
Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations
Report any safety concerns or mechanical issues to management promptly
Follow directions to navigate between job sites and quarries
Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL with Air Brake Endorsement
Verifiable driving record
Dependable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
Ability to work extended hours during peak season
Minimum of three (3) years of driving experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Comfortable working around heavy equipment and machinery
Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods
