Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles; Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, air brake systems, steering and suspension, driveline components, HVAC systems, and emissions systems; Carry out scheduled maintenance and more complex repairs to ensure safe and reliable vehicle operation; Troubleshoot and analyze issues reported by drivers or customers and provide effective repair solutions; Utilize diagnostic software, OEM service information, and electronic testing equipment; Respond promptly to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed; Communicate job progress to supervisors and customers as needed; Complete service reports, order parts, and maintain accurate customer repair records; Field Technicians will be going out on service calls. Two-year technical degree and/or equivalent experience as a truck technician, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment technician; Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brake systems, transmissions, steering and suspension, HVAC, hydraulic systems, and aftertreatment/emissions systems; Previous experience working on Mack and Volvo Trucks is a plus, but not required; Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding customer service; Computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
