    Schedule: Minimum 10-hour shifts, 6 days per week (scheduled day off based on weather conditions)
    Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Seasonal Trim Room Supervisor to lead and oversee the quality control process for our cannabis harvest operation in Coleman, Michigan. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring finished flower meets the highest quality standards while maintaining production efficiency during harvest season.

    The Trim Room Supervisor will supervise and train a team of 6–12 hand trimmers, ensuring proper trimming techniques, quality standards, and productivity goals are consistently met. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with cannabis flower in a high-volume production environment and possesses strong leadership, organization, and attention to detail.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and train a team of 6–12 hand trimmers.
    • Ensure all finished flower meets established quality standards.
    • Train employees on proper hand-trimming techniques and quality expectations.
    • Inspect cannabis flower for:
      • Small leaves and stems missed during automated trimming
      • Discolored or damaged buds
      • Mold or other imperfections
    • Maintain consistency in product appearance while meeting daily production goals.
    • Monitor workflow to ensure quality control standards are maintained without sacrificing efficiency.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to improve team performance.
    • Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient trim room.
    • Report quality concerns and production issues to management.
    • Help create a positive, productive team environment throughout the harvest season.

    Required Qualifications

    Experience

    • Previous experience working with cannabis flower in a high-volume cultivation or processing environment.
    • Prior supervisory, leadership, or employee training experience.
    • Strong understanding of cannabis flower quality standards.
    • Experience identifying mold, discoloration, damaged buds, and other quality concerns.
    • Ability to maintain productivity while ensuring exceptional product quality.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bilingual in English and Spanish (highly preferred but not required).
    • Previous experience supervising trimming crews.
    • Experience working with automated trimming equipment and post-processing workflows.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
    • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements throughout the workday.
    • Ability to work a minimum of 10-hour shifts, six days per week during harvest season.

    • Scheduled day off will vary based on weather conditions and operational needs.

    Compensation

    • $20.00 per hour

    Additional Requirements

    • Must successfully complete a State of Michigan background check.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
