  • Receiving and filing documents to include electronic filing, scanning/imaging documents, data entry, receipting monies, setting hearings, and maintaining court calendars. 
  • Providing information and assistance to judiciary, attorneys, law enforcement agencies, state agencies and the public. 
  • Will cross train in multiple areas of the district court and assist with caseload management as needed. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Clerk of the District Court. 
Required education and experience:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one-year clerical experience. 
Preferred experience:
  • Prior experience and/or knowledge of legal processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of modern office procedures and practices, including experience working with computer programs.
  • Ability to understand the organization, operation, functions, and scope of authority of the court.
  • Ability to understand court procedures and policies.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
