About the Firm

A prominent civil litigation and insurance defense firm is seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to join its North Miami team. The firm regularly represents major insurance carriers, self-insured entities, and corporate clients in complex, high-exposure litigation across South Florida.

Key Practice Areas

• General Liability & Premises Liability Defense

• Construction Defect Litigation

• Auto & Commercial Trucking Defense

• Complex First-Party & Third-Party Claims

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary trial counsel on high-stakes insurance defense matters from case strategy through verdict

• Manage all phases of litigation, including lead depositions, oral arguments, evidentiary hearings, and mediations

• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with junior litigation associates and trial support teams

• Maintain direct communication and strategic reporting with insurance claims examiners, risk managers, and corporate insureds

• Compensation: $150,000+ base salary, commmensurate with depth of trial experience, plus bonus opportunities

Qualifications

• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar

• Significant first-chair jury trial experience in Florida state and federal courts

• Substantial defense experience handling construction defect, general liability, and complex casualty claims

• Proven track record of independently managing high-volume, complex litigation dockets
