Join a growing tree care team that takes pride in quality work, safety, and professionalism. We are looking for a dependable Groundsman to assist our tree crews with daily operations, including brush cleanup, equipment operation, job site safety, and supporting climbers and crew leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Drag brush and debris to chipper during tree removal and pruning operations
- Operate wood chippers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, and other equipment safely
- Assist with rigging, lowering limbs, and maintaining safe work zones
- Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials
- Perform general cleanup of job sites and leave properties in excellent condition
- Follow company safety procedures and participate in safety meetings
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and inspections
- Support crew leaders and climbers as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Tree care, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required
- CDL is a plus but not required
