    Samaritan''s Purse is seeking a Tree Removal Technical Team Manager to manage, direct, and work with Tree Removal Technicians (TRTs) and volunteers in hazardous tree removal at disaster sites. You will conduct training with Tree Removal Technicians and volunteers in the proper and safe procedures of hazardous tree removal, as well as ensure compliance with Federal, State, and DOT regulations. This role is based in North Wilkesboro, NC, but requires travel and extended stays at disaster sites. Join this team and share in spreading the gospel!

    In the role of Tree Removal Technical Team Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.

    • Manage Tree Removal Technicians (TRT) duties, training, and scheduling of work assignments to ensure proper and safe tree removal. Provide day-to-day management, coordination and direction of the TRTs.

    • Ensure that Tree Removal equipment is maintained in response-ready mode. Encourage a standard of excellence in Christian witness and team building pertaining to all work.

    • Travel to field sites to support the training of TRTs and SLT on techniques and procedures of advanced tree felling. Develop best practices for safety for staff and volunteers during deployments.

    • Stay abreast of current Federal and State DOT rules and regulations to maintain lawful compliance of Samaritan''s Purse commercial equipment.

    • Conduct regular subordinate team meetings and bi-monthly meetings, including Program Managers and Assistant Program Managers. Evaluate performance and provide feedback during the year, as well as annual performance reviews.

    What are the qualifications?

    As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

    • 7+ years related experience and/or training working with hazardous tree removal.

    • Possess and maintain Class A CDL.

    • General computer skills required.

    • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies are strongly preferred.
