New Haven Youth & Family Services is looking for a compassionate and motivated Associate Social Worker (ASW) to join our clinical team working with at-risk adolescent boys in a residential/non-public school setting giving you the opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships and provide consistent, hands-on clinical support throughout their treatment journey.

What You’ll Do

As a Treatment Manager, you will serve as the clinical lead for assigned students and will:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy under supervision

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Build positive, therapeutic relationships with high school-aged boys

  • Coordinate care with families and community providers

  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings

  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed

  • Provide crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization support

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

  • Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required

  • Current California ASW registration required

  • Commitment to obtaining your LCSW

  • Experience working with adolescent youth required

  • Knowledge of adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and family systems

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to remain calm, patient, and supportive when working with challenging behaviors

  • Valid California Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
