POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for the administration and accounting for one or more of Treasury Management primary functions: Banking, Cash Forecasting, Collections & US Treasury, or Loans. This position is the agency expert on accounting and operational issues and is responsible for the development of accounting, technical, and business policies and procedures for the assigned function. This position is also the agency expert on US Treasury, Commercial Banking, and Federal Reserve Bank procedures, policies, regulations, and systems. Supervise the work of up to 2 Accountants and/or Analysts.

Assists in the administration of TVA's Electronic Payment Programs by providing support in the administration of the Federal Reserve Bank Fedline system, providing guidance and advice to personnel of all levels both inside and outside the agency regarding TVA's EFT programs, and preparing reports and statistical analysis of EFT programs and transactions.
Perform financial analysis as assigned by Director, Treasury Management and Senior Vice President and Treasurer.
Ensures procedures and documentation are in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education. - A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; or equivalent education, training & experience is required.
Experience. - Professional experience with at least 2 or more years in accounting, finance and/or information systems.
Certification/License, etc - A CPA certification or MBA is highly desirable.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities -. Requires knowledge and skill in commercial banking, Federal Reserve and US Treasury regulations and systems, principles of accounting, finance and cash management; and TVA's general ledger systems, processes and procedures. Must be able to organize and perform several tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines, must have well developed analytical and computer skills, and must be able to effectively work with and communicate with personnel at all levels both within and outside the agency. Candidate may be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance based on position / access requirements and essential job functions.
