Summary: The OnBase Technical Lead serves as the principal technical authority for OnBase applications, with a particular emphasis on deep and demonstrated expertise in both OnBase WorkView and Workflow. This role is responsible for leading the development group, actively designing and coding enhancements to existing applications. The Technical Lead must possess advanced proficiency in configuring and optimizing OnBase WorkView solutions and Workflow processes to meet complex business needs. In addition to technical mastery, the position requires guiding the team through all phases of application development from requirements analysis and design to implementation and testing ensuring that all changes are robust, scalable, and aligned with enterprise objectives. The Technical Lead acts as a functional architect, providing strategic direction, reviewing designs, recommending improvements, and offering hands-on leadership throughout the development lifecycle.
Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
Requirements: OnBase WorkView & Workflow certification preferred
Experience developing and enhancing existing OnBase applications
Expert knowledge of OnBase WorkView and Workflow functionality
Expert knowledge of OnBase systems configuration and administration
Understanding of Unity Client and how it is used for OnBase applications
Description: Lead the development group in designing, coding, and implementing enhancements to existing OnBase applications.
Apply deep and demonstrated knowledge of OnBase WorkView and Workflow to architect and optimize solutions for complex business needs.
Configure, develop, and maintain OnBase WorkView applications and Workflow processes to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient operations.
Plan and deploy interface, process, and workflow strategies for OnBase applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to OnBase applications.
Guide the team through all phases of application development, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership in reviewing designs, recommending improvements, and ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
Serve as the functional architect, translating business requirements into technical solutions and overseeing their execution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and interpret user requirements and ensure these are reflected in design specifications.
Direct and participate in application design, development, coding, unit testing, and debugging of OnBase solutions.
Provide expertise and guidance during the testing process, ensuring quality standards are met.
Communicate accurate and useful status updates to team members and management.
Identify, track, and resolve issues, risks, and action items affecting the team s work.
Plan and estimate timelines for tasks, ensuring timely resolution of challenges.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to OnBase applications.
Provide ongoing training of OnBase tools and techniques to enrich staff support capabilities.
