Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in partnership with a utilities company is seeking a part-time Treasury Analyst.  As the Treasury Analyst you will be responsible for overseeing daily cash operations, liquidity strategies, and capital deployment to drive sound organizational decision-making. Working closely with Finance, Accounting, and Operations, you will manage core banking relationships, fund investments, long-term debt planning, and corporate credit card programs. The ideal candidate has a bachelors degree, a minimum of 5 years or applicable treasury experience and is adaptable and able to manage changing priorities.  This is a part time role Monday-Friday for 25 hours per week (will consider candidates for up to 30 hours per week).  If you’re seeking your next opportunity, apply now!

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily cash positions, reconciliations, wire transfers, positive pay exceptions, and complete bank account administration, while optimizing banking partner relationships and fees.
  • Build short- and long-term cash flow models, prepare amortization schedules, and support debt structuring, covenant monitoring, and refinancing analysis.
  • Execute investment strategies for excess cash and CIAC funds to secure principal and maximize returns in compliance with fiduciary policies.
  • Evaluate member-owner creditworthiness, establish risk limits, monitor collateral, and maintain BSA/AML, KYC, and OFAC/sanctions compliance programs.
  • Administer the corporate credit card program and deliver cross-functional financial models, variance reports, and strategic analyses to executive leadership.


Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related treasury experience in accounting, auditing, treasury, corporate finance, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to include experience in cash management, liquidity forecasting and modeling, and treasury operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel- financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis, etc

This job is Hybrid Remote.

Pay Range: Hourly $45.00 to $50.00
