Overview
The Treasury Analyst must believe in, practice and initiate all Green Brick Partners values set forth in an acronym we call HOME. They must be Honest, Objective, Mature and Efficient in how he or she approaches their role at Green Brick Partners.
Position Purpose:
The Treasury Analyst supports the daily liquidity, cash management, and corporate finance activities. This role sits within the Treasury function and plays a key part in ensuring efficient use of cash, maintaining strong banking relationships, and supporting capital markets activity.
Responsibilities
Daily Cash Management
Monitor cash positions, consolidate cash forecasts, and propose transfers to minimize idle cash and maximize interest earning potential.
Initiate approved transfers.
Ensure adequate liquidity across operating accounts.
Banking Operations
Maintain bank account structures, user access, and controls
Coordinate with banking partners on services, fees, and documentation.
Cash Forecasting & Analysis
Assist in preparing short‑term and long‑term cash flow forecasts
Analyze variances and identify drivers to improve forecast accuracy
Debt & Capital Markets Support
Prepare debt covenant compliances documentation
Maintain schedules for credit facilities
Support reporting for bondholders and lenders
Treasury Systems & Controls
Support administration of treasury workstations or bank portals while maintaining internal control compliant processes and documentation.
Working Capital Optimization
Analyze payment cycles, collections timing, and vendor terms to identify opportunities to improve cash efficiency.
Reporting
Prepare regular liquidity reports, Treasury dashboards, and materials for senior leadership.
Ad Hoc Projects
Support initiatives such as process automation, bank RFPs, and investment evaluations.
Assist with analysis, reporting and/or support for other Green Brick entities as needed.
Authority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion and Independent Judgment Ability:
Independent judgement is required to prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines. Analyze complex financial reports, transactions, and processes and demonstrate the ability to detect and resolve issues, determine the cause of variances, and identify and implement corrections to facilitate complete and accurate work product.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
