Treasury Analyst - ALM, Funding and Modeling

What You'll Do

• Support the identification, measurement, and monitoring of liquidity risks under both business-as-usual and stress scenarios
• Develop and maintain forecasting models for cash flows, portfolios, and funding capacity
• Prepare analyses and reports for Treasury, Finance, and partner teams
• Contribute to funding strategies and interest rate risk hedging for the institution's banking book
• Support the development and oversight of new and existing products
• Work with large volumes of data using SQL, spreadsheets, and analytical tools, ensuring data quality and consistency
• Collaborate with FP&A, Risk, Finance, and Technology on continuous improvement initiatives and the digitalization of treasury processes
• Use AI tools in your daily work to accelerate analysis, documentation, and solution development-an important differentiator

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
• Experience in Treasury, ALM, funding, liquidity management, or market risk within banks, fintechs, or acquiring companies
• Experience with the Brazilian capital markets and fixed-income instruments
• Financial modeling and forecasting, with advanced Excel skills
• SQL and database manipulation
• Python for quantitative analysis is desirable, or a strong willingness to develop this skill with the support of modern tools
• Familiarity with APIs, version control, and production environments is desirable
• English proficiency
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to numerical detail
• Ability to validate results and challenge assumptions
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive mindset and comfort working in a dynamic, hands-on environment

Nice to Have

• Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM, or a postgraduate degree
• Experience automating models and dashboards
• Productive use of generative AI in daily workflows, including coding, analysis, and documentation
