Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Traveling Superintendent to join our construction operations team. This role is ideal for a construction leader who enjoys building complex projects, leading field teams, and delivering exceptional results while supporting projects across the country.
The successful candidate will be based in Southern California and will travel on assignment to Abilene, TX, where they will oversee daily field operations, drive project execution, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers the opportunity to play a key leadership role on a significant construction project while working alongside some of the industry's most talented professionals.
District Overview
Kiewit's Southern California District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil projects that include earth moving, water/wastewater, transportation, roadways, and power projects. Most of our work is concentrated in the Southern California region.

This position is based in Southern California and requires travel to support work in Abilene, TX. The selected candidate will maintain a SoCal home base while working on-site in Abilene on temporary duty (TDY) assignment.
