Job Description
- Manage daily onsite construction activities across multiple project assignments
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and project logistics
- Maintain project schedules and drive milestone completion
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Conduct quality control inspections and oversee punch list completion
- Communicate project progress with project managers, clients, and stakeholders
- Lead site teams to deliver successful ground-up and renovation projects within active retail environments
The Successful Applicant
A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:
- Proven Superintendent experience within commercial construction
- Background delivering quick service restaurant, convenience store, fuel station, retail, or restaurant projects
- Experience managing fast-track construction schedules
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the Southeast region
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and subcontractor management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Proficiency with construction scheduling and project documentation software
