Traveling Superintendent - Retail
Client is a builder developer in the Atlanta market that operates as a general contractor servicing clients in retail and big box space.
Job Description
- Supervise daily construction site operations, ensuring safety and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to maintain schedules and budgets.
- Inspect work progress and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily logs and project documentation.
- Ensure adherence to all safety standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates.
- Travel to various project sites as required to manage construction activities.
- Oversee the quality control process to ensure all work meets company and client standards.
- Travel as required to assigned project locations throughout the United States.

The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction as a superintendent
- Experience with retail construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage on-site teams effectively.
- Ability to travel frequently to various project locations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project plans.
- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve on-site challenges.
- Ability to travel extensively and relocate temporarily based on project assignments.
