We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects across multiple U.S. markets from mobilization through final turnover. This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader with strong tilt-wall and mixed commercial experience who is comfortable independently managing a jobsite, coordinating trades, and keeping projects moving safely and efficiently.

Description
- Lead day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects nationwide
- Independently manage assigned jobsites from mobilization through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, short-term planning, and sequencing
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and field activities
- Oversee tilt-wall, structural, sitework, MEP, interior, and building envelope scopes
- Maintain project quality while driving schedule and production in the field
- Conduct safety meetings and reinforce jobsite safety expectations
- Work closely with Project Managers to address scheduling, cost, and constructability issues
- Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams
- Manage punch-list activities, inspections, commissioning, and project turnover
- Maintain accurate daily reports and field documentation
- Represent the company professionally while working in markets across the U.S.
Profile
A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor
- Previous experience working in a traveling Superintendent position
- Strong background delivering tilt-wall construction projects
- Experience across a mixed commercial project portfolio
- Demonstrated ability to independently run mid-to-large commercial jobsites
- Comfortable operating with lean field teams and taking responsibility for day-to-day project execution
- Strong understanding of scheduling, subcontractor coordination, safety, quality control, and construction sequencing
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively based on project location
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Consistent employment history and demonstrated career progression preferred
