Job Description

Lead all on-site construction activities for healthcare projects from preconstruction through final turnover. Manage subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution. Develop and maintain short-term schedules and look-ahead plans. Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. Coordinate work in active and occupied healthcare environments while minimizing disruptions to operations. Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and subcontractor coordination meetings. Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, healthcare construction regulations, and project-specific safety protocols. Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents for field execution. Coordinate inspections, testing, infection control measures, and regulatory requirements. Identify and resolve field issues that impact project schedules, quality, or safety. Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates. Partner closely with Project Managers, healthcare stakeholders, and design teams throughout the project lifecycle. Lead punch list, commissioning, and closeout activities.

The Successful Applicant

5=3+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction. Proven experience leading healthcare construction projects. Experience working in occupied and operational healthcare facilities strongly preferred. Knowledge of ICRA protocols, healthcare compliance requirements, and infection control measures preferred. Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Southeast. Experience managing multiple subcontractors and complex project logistics. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
