Traveling Superintendent - Big-Box Retail

A general contractor with a long track record in national big-box retail is hiring a Traveling Superintendent. You'll lead new stores, expansions and remodels for major big-box and supercenter brands like the ones you already know, often while stores stay open.

What You'll Do

• Lead new big-box stores, supercenter expansions and remodels
• Manage phasing and night work in occupied stores with store management
• Coordinate trades for sitework, steel, roofing, MEP, refrigeration and interiors
• Run daily safety, inspections and reporting
• Work with the Project Manager on schedules, changes and owner meetings
• Drive punch lists, grand openings and closeout

What You Bring

• Superintendent experience on national big-box retail work, such as Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Lowe's or Home Depot (required)
• Remodel and occupied-store experience
• Willingness to travel full time
• OSHA 30 (preferred)
• A dependable, schedule-driven work style
