Traveling Stringless Technician

Travel Required: This position requires frequent travel throughout Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Candidates must be willing and able to travel to project sites as needed.

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Stringless Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with stringless paving operations, maintaining and calibrating stringless equipment, and performing quality control checks to ensure accurate and efficient paving operations. This role requires extensive travel to project sites throughout our operating region.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stringless paving projects, including field work, data collection, and quality control.
• Work with surveying staff and project managers to develop accurate paving designs and plans.
• Maintain and calibrate stringless paving equipment, including Topcon and Trimble systems.
• Perform quality control checks on completed paving work.
• Assist with recordkeeping and project documentation.
• Travel regularly to job sites throughout Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field; LSIT certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in stringless paving, surveying, or a related field.
• Knowledge of stringless paving technology and software, including Leica and Trimble systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the region.
