Ripple Effect Consulting is hiring a Traveling Special Inspector for a large commercial construction project in Monroe, Louisiana. This position includes project-specific training in Phoenix, Arizona before deployment to the job site.

Position Details

Project Location: Monroe, Louisiana
Training Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Pay Rate: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience
Per Diem: $176 per day, approximately $5,300 per month
Schedule: Two weeks on, one week off
Overtime: Overtime will be available and required based on project needs

Required Certifications and Experience

Candidates must have the following:

• ICC Fireproofing certification

• ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector certification

• Floor flatness testing experience

• Ability to travel and complete training in Phoenix

• Ability to work overtime and follow a rotational schedule

• Reliable transportation and professional job-site conduct

Responsibilities

• Perform fireproofing and reinforced concrete inspections

• Inspect reinforcing steel placement before concrete pours

• Conduct floor flatness and floor levelness testing

• Document inspection results and prepare accurate daily reports

• Communicate deficiencies and project findings to appropriate personnel

• Follow project specifications, applicable building codes, and safety requirements

• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and other inspection personnel
