Traveling Safety Manager (SSHO) - Bridge

Location: Omaha, NE (travel to projects across the Midwest)

Position Overview

Our client, an established heavy civil bridge contractor working on bridge and rail projects throughout the Midwest, is looking for a Traveling Safety Manager (SSHO) - Bridge. This is a traveling role: you'll be based out of the Omaha area and travel to job sites across the region. Permanent, full-time.

Responsibilities

• Run the site safety program and inspections
• Lead safety training and toolbox talks
• Investigate incidents and track corrective actions
• Keep work in line with OSHA requirements
• Travel to project sites across the Midwest; per diem/travel covered

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 30 required; CHST/CSP a plus
• Strong communication with field crews
• Willing to travel regularly

Compensation

• Base salary: $90,000 - $130,000
• Travel expenses covered
• Strong benefits package
