Job TitleTraveling MEP Assistant Project ManagerJob DescriptionSupport Project Managers in planning, execution, and closeout activities for mission critical construction projects. Manage day-to-day project activities under the guidance of senior project leadership. Assist with MEP coordination efforts, subcontractor management, and project scheduling. Prepare invoices, estimates, meeting agendas, and project documentation. Track project progress and assist in developing daily, weekly, and monthly status reports. Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting. Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and material suppliers. Support the preparation, negotiation, and execution of change orders. Help expedite invoice processing and subcontractor payments. Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to coordinate field operations. Communicate project delays, risks, and critical issues to project leadership. Develop and maintain positive relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Assist with project startup procedures and closeout documentation. Support quality control and contract compliance efforts.
