We are seeking dependable and flexible Traveling Substitute Food Service Workers to support our school food service program at various locations. This is an on-call position with work available as needed. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel.ScheduleDay shift, Monday through FridayApproximately 3–6 hours per day when scheduledNo weekends or holidaysSummers offOn-call, as-needed basisKey Responsibilities:Assist with food preparation and meal assembly.Serve meals to students in a friendly and efficient manner.Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and perform cashier duties.Stock, organize, and rotate food and supplies.Wash dishes and maintain clean kitchen, serving, and dining areas.Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.Assist with other cafeteria duties as needed.Qualifications:Reliable transportation and ability to travel.Flexible availability and willingness to work at different school locations.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.Strong communication and customer service skills.Previous food service experience is a plus but not required.Ability to obtain required documentation and clearances to work in a school setting.
