Job Details

Summary of Role / Responsibilities
The Traveling Construction Project Manager will oversee industrial construction projects throughout the United States, ensuring successful execution from planning through completion. This individual will collaborate closely with field leadership, owners, design teams, and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of industrial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
  • Lead project planning, procurement, subcontractor management, and contract administration.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure efficient field operations and adherence to project schedules.
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, buyout, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and quality expectations.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify risks proactively and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Support project teams in achieving successful schedule, quality, and profitability objectives.

Preferred Background
  • Experience managing industrial, manufacturing, mission critical, energy, processing, or large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Ability to travel full-time and work on project sites nationwide.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
