Job Title: Traveling Commercial Roofer - 5 Month Ohio Project Compensation:

Hourly Pay: $20.00-$28. 00/Hour (Crew) | $32.00-$45.00/Hour (Journeyman/Foreman Level) DOE Per Diem: $80/Day, 7 days a week while traveling ($2,400+/month) Project Bonus: $2500K-$5,000K

Start Date: Early September 2026 Job Type: Full Time

Position Overview This is a 5-month traveling assignment (late September 2026 through February/March 2027) with full-time hours straight through the winter, when most roofing crews get sent home. Youll start with a paid training week in early September, then travel to Ohio with your crew for the duration of the project. This is not a temp job - youre hired as a full-time JR & Co. employee in your home market, and when the project wraps, you come home to a permanent spot on your local crew with a company that has a 40-year track record and a deep backlog.

What Youll Earn Total project earnings: $45,000-$85,000 over 5 months, including wages, per diem, and bonus. Where you land in that range depends on your experience level.

Schedule & Travel

6 days per week, 10 hours per day (20 hours of overtime weekly) Travel to project site in Ohio from late September 2026 through February/March 2027 Fly home for holidays Lodging arrangements plus $80 daily per diem, paid 7 days a week while on the road

Key Responsibilities

Install commercial roofing systems safely and to JR & Co. quality standards Load, stage, and handle roofing materials and equipment Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, including fall protection at heights Work as part of a tight-knit traveling crew - show up on time, work hard, and look out for your teammates Experienced journeyman/foreman: lead by example, train and mentor younger crew members, and take accountability for your crews quality and safety

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions Able to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and walk on rooftops for 10-hour shifts
