X-ray Technician
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technician to join our team. This position requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate both day and evening shifts, as well as weekend and holiday coverage.
Schedule
- 32 hours per week
- Shifts include: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, and 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Days of the week: Friday, Monday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Tuesday, Wednesday
- Day shift during weekdays; second shift during weekends
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or appropriate military training
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
Licensure and Certification
- Currently registered as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire
- Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- BLS certification required
Skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in computer applications, including PACS and HIS/RIS
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Location
This position will be based in the city of Boston, MA.
