    Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: X-Ray Duration: Full Time Shift: Days Hours per Shift: TBD Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: State Licenses required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Must be a graduate of an American Medical Association-approved school of radiologic technology. - Must be registered in at least radiography. - Training and/or experience specific to radiology practices regarding neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. - Proven ability to interact effectively with patients, co-workers, practitioners, and visitors. - Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment. - Ability to work independently. - Effective communication skills. - Familiarity with computer applications. Description: The Radiologic Technologist operates under the direction of radiologists and the supervision of the Director of Radiology. The technologist operates a Computerized Tomographic scanner to image the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities. Training and/or experience specific to radiology practices is required. The candidate must be willing to cross-train in additional imaging modalities. A commitment to high-quality patient-centered care delivered with compassion and empathy is essential. The role encompasses a sense of ownership, collaboration, and accountability. Flexibility in accepting change as an opportunity for growth while honoring past practices is valued. The technologist must exhibit integrity by always doing the right thing and respecting patients and staff.
