Description
Perform CT and X-Ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Operate CT scanners and X-Ray equipment safely and efficiently while following radiation safety standards.
Select appropriate technical factors and positioning techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Review images for proper exposure, positioning, and diagnostic quality, and repeat examinations when necessary.
Prepare patients for procedures, explain examinations, and provide clear instructions regarding positioning and preparation.
Safely assist with patient transfers and positioning, including patients requiring additional support.
Maintain and organize radiology rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
Maintain accurate patient and examination records while protecting patient confidentiality.
Follow all applicable radiation protection, infection control, and hospital safety protocols.
Perform other imaging-related duties as assigned by the Imaging Services Manager.
