Key Responsibilities of the X-Ray Tech

• Perform general diagnostic radiography and bedside/portable procedures
• Provide imaging for adult acute care and outpatient services
• Work efficiently with PACS imaging systems
• Adhere to isolation precautions and utilize PPE as required
• Conduct imaging with competency in anatomy and orthopedic procedures
• Float within radiology to meet facility needs

Requirements of the X-Ray Tech

• Active ARRT (R) certification and BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of recent X-Ray Tech experience
• Experience in adult acute care, outpatient imaging, and portable procedures
• Proficiency with PACS and isolation precautions
• Strong competency in various anatomical and orthopedic imaging procedures
