Job Details
- Position Description: The Wound Care RN is a professional caregiver responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation focused on wound management. The RN utilizes evidence-based practices, clinical expertise, and technology to deliver quality patient care.
- Required Qualifications: ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing; RN licensesingle state or compact; 1+ years of experience; certification in CWOCN, CWON, or CWCN (required); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Inpatient wound and outpatient wound clinic experience preferred. Skills required include patient care delivery, nursing fundamentals, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation, communication, patient care coordination, patient evaluation, critical thinking, professional etiquette, and accountability.
