• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,780 - $1,870
• Weekend/Holiday Schedule: No weekends or holidays

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the District of Columbia required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent wound care RN experience required
• At least 1 previous travel nursing assignment required
• Current BLS certification required
• Wound, ostomy, and continence nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with ostomy care, pressure injury management, and patient education
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume wound care and consult environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient-centered mindset
• Must be able to work within compliance timelines for onboarding and required modules

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled wound care and ostomy nursing support for a diverse patient population
• Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based care for pressure injuries and complex wounds
• Support ostomy patients post-operatively and provide ongoing education and follow-up
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including surgical and critical care partners, to develop care plans
• Perform prevention rounding and deliver real-time education when census allows
• Document assessments and consults accurately, including use of facility-approved camera capture tools
• Participate in team discussions for higher-acuity pressure injuries and care coordination
• Educate patients and families on wound care, ostomy management, and self-care techniques
• Contribute to a patient-centered environment focused on quality, safety, and positive outcomes
