Description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience and dual registration in Echo and Vascular for an outpatient float pool role

Details

• Outpatient setting within a system-wide float pool covering multiple campuses including Eden, Burlington, Magnolia, MC HP, and DB
• Adult patient population
• Works independently without additional staff support
• 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Performs studies including Abdominal Aorta, Aorta, Arterial Graft Studies, Carotid, Color Flow, Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower Extremity Arterial & Venous, M-Mode, Renal Artery Duplex, Transcranial Doppler, and Upper Extremity Arterial & Venous
• Uses PACS and Philips ultrasound equipment
• EPIC EMR experience required
• May float to any Cone Health campus as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must be registered with both Echo and Vascular; candidates with RVS certification and Echo experience will also be considered
• Registration required through ARDMS or CCI, specifically RDCS and RVT or RCS and RVS
• Adult patient care experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• Current driver's license required for address verification

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of vascular and general ultrasound studies across multiple outpatient locations
• Must be comfortable working independently in an outpatient setting
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, and no local rates apply
• RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
• Third-party education verification is required, and degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Local candidates will not be considered due to the radius policy
