Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with ARDMS certification and 2+ years experience, including pediatric scanning proficiency.

Details

  • Sonography department handling 45-56 cases per day across 4 rooms with 4 ultrasound machines
  • Pediatric patient population with a high volume of abdominal/stomach cases
  • Uses EPIC EMR
  • 3x12 hour night shifts, Saturday-Sunday-Monday, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM
  • No weekends beyond scheduled shift rotation, no call, and no floating required

Requirements

  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • ARDMS certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer
  • Must be able to scan pediatric patients, including a high volume of abdominal cases

Additional Information

  • One week of floor orientation provided
  • Black scrubs required
  • No holiday coverage required unless it falls on a regularly scheduled shift
